Earth Day
April 22 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Happy Earth Day from NMSS!
Today, April 22, we join the global community in celebrating Earth Day. At New Millennium Secondary School, we believe that being a “Warrior” means more than just excellence in the classroom—it means being a responsible steward of the world around us.
Even as we navigate our current transition, the lessons of sustainability, conservation, and community care remain a core part of the Warrior spirit. Whether it’s reducing waste, planting a garden, or simply spending time appreciating the outdoors, every small action contributes to a healthier planet for future generations.
How you can celebrate today:
-
Restore: Spend a few minutes cleaning up a local park or your neighborhood.
-
Reduce: Challenge yourself to go “plastic-free” for the day.
-
Reflect: Take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty of our California landscape.
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for all the ways you work to make our environment—and our community—a better place.
Happy Earth Day!
