The dictionary definition of the word is rather simplistic for our tastes, so we kept looking and found a study done by OU which states: Credibility is a characteristic of a person who is perceived by others to be a trusted advisor, believable, and confident by exhibiting a high level of expertise in a certain subject. This is the core concept we operate by when hiring our incredible staff — everyone at NMSS is a trusted advisor, confident and expert in their subject of focus.Credibility naturally leads to trust, which in turn creates a learning environment of safety and exploration. In order to push the limits, one must first gain a deep understanding of those limits. The best way to do that is to learn from an expert. Once our students demonstrate a deep understanding of the courses they are taught, the sky’s the limit and we make sure to fill their sails so that they take off to fly and push the limits in any direction that inspires them.
