Thinking Ahead

  • Dual Enrollment. Our students get free college tuition through East LA Community College & Southwest College classes taught on our campus or online classes. Let the office know if you’re interested for Fall 2024.
  • College and Career Fairs start in the fall (here’s a peek at the one last month!)
  • Field Trips: Tolerance Museum, Long Beach Aquarium, Museum of Latin American Art and The Watts Labor Community Action Committee Center (WLCAC) are just a few of the field trip highlights from this past year and we will continue to get out and about in our community! We also visit colleges, vocational schools or wherever YOU want to go– let us know and we can start planning now!
  • Fun: It’s never too early to find a song to lip-sync to– and don’t forget about some dance moves to go with it!
  • Clubs: Have a club you want to start organizing over the summer? You can find the form to make it official here under the “ASB” tab.
  • On the same page, under the “Seniors” tab, rising seniors can check out our graduation checklist and how to qualify for a Millennium diploma.
  • Did you know we have a college and career page? Great resources including how to get a work permit for off-campus jobs, college entrance exam info, community service forms (get a head start this summer!), and a college planner for ALL our students organized by grade? It’s also where you can find our counselor Kyle Kirtz’s contact information– he’s waiting to hear from you!
